Ways to Give

There are many ways to give to help ensure the future of the Wanda Gág House. Your gifts help us ensure that the history of the Gag family continues to be known throughout New Ulm, the area, and Minnesota. There are a number of ways you can contribute.

Unrestricted Gifts

Unrestricted annual giving is vital to the financial strength of the Wanda Gág House. Annual gifts sustain the Wanda Gág House Association’s mission, enhance its educational programs, and maintain the interpretive center’s outreach to the community. We invite you to become a member.

Endowment Gifts

An endowment gift begins working immediately and retains its value forever. When you give to an endowed fund, the principle of your gift is maintained in perpetuity, while a portion of the income it generates is used to support general operating costs and programming. Your endowment gift can also be designated to support a special purpose.

Invest In Your Region

Keep the Wanda Gág House open for future generations.  If you would like to make a tax-deductible gift of money, art, or an artifact to the Wanda Gág House Association, please contact us.

The Wanda Gág House is a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Organization. Thank you for doing what you can.

Gifts In Honor Or Memory

You may honor or remember someone special to you through a gift to the Wanda Gág House Association. Please send information about the family or person so they can be notified of your thoughtful gift. All honor and memorial gifts are acknowledged in the Wanda Gág House Association newsletter Cat Tales.

Planned Giving

You can make a difference in the future of the Wanda Gág House Interpretive Center and Museum by naming the Association as the beneficiary of a planned gift. Planned gifts are an excellent means of diversification, and reducing income and estate taxes. Planned gifts include will provisions, charitable remainder trusts, gift annuities, and gifts of real estate and life insurance.

Be a Volunteer

Greeters make the Wanda Gag House a warm and inviting place to visit. As a vital part of the WGHA operation, these volunteers commonly answer basic questions about the Museum or artworks within, and ensure the safety of artworks and visitors.

The Wanda Gag House Association could not function without volunteers. To learn more about volunteering at the Wanda Gag House, please contact the Wanda Gag House Association at or telephone (507) 359-2632.

Thank you for considering becoming a WGHA volunteer.
